Roland has been living in England since 1986, where he was working as a financial markets journalist. Roland focuses on cross-border financial communications, mergers & acquisitions, PE and special situations. He advises on multi-billion M&A deals and works closely with banks and law firms on complex situations.
Roland studied Business and Economics, and in his first career he worked as a Financial and Business journalist in Frankfurt, Hamburg and London. From 1992, he worked in various PR and IR functions at the car manufacturer Daimler, where he was heading Global corporate communications, and LM Ericcson AB in Stockholm and London as head of Global Corporate Affairs.
