Anna Diamantopoulou

Ms. Diamantopoulou has led a long and distinguished career in public service in Greece and in Europe and has extensive experience in the private sector. Ms. Diamantopoulou served as the European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities (1999-2004), and has held several positions as a Cabinet Minister in the Greek government. She is currently President of DIKTIO – Network for Reform in Greece and Europe, a leading independent, Athens based think tank, which she founded in 2013. She is also Chair of the European Commission's High Level Group on the future of social protection & the welfare state in the EU, and serves as a Non-Executive Director at Coca-Cola HBC AG, an FTSE 100 company.

Wolfgang Ischinger

Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger has been Chairman of the Munich Security Conference since 2008. He is also Senior Professor for Security Policy and Diplomatic Practice at the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin. Ischinger began his diplomatic career in the cabinet of the UN Secretary-General in 1973 and joined the Federal Republic of Germany’s foreign service in 1975. From 1998 to 2001, he was Staatssekretär (Deputy Foreign Minister). From 2001 to 2008, he served first as German Ambassador in Washington, DC, and then in London. From 2008 to 2014, he was Global Head of Government Relations of Allianz SE, Munich. Today, Ischinger serves on a number of corporate and non-profit boards.

Maurice Lévy

Maurice Lévy is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe, the world’s third largest communication group. He joined Publicis in 1971 as IT Director, and was later named CEO of Publicis Groupe in 1987, a role that he fulfilled for 30 years until being named Chairman of the Supervisory Board as of June 1, 2017. Widely recognized as a leading figure in the communications industry, Lévy also co- founded the French Brain Institute (ICM) in 2005. He serves as Chairman for several entities, among them the International Board of Governors for the Peres Center for Peace and also the Pasteur-Weizmann Institute, which he has led since 2015. Lévy has been honored with numerous distinctions and accolades for his contributions to media, business leadership, and tolerance. He holds the distinctions of Commandeur of the French Légion d’Honneur and Grand Officier of the Ordre National du Mérite.

Nuala O’Connor

Nuala O’Connor is the Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel, Digital Citizenship at Walmart. She oversees the Digital Citizenship team responsible for providing advice across the company on issues related to privacy, use of data and data governance, use of emerging technologies, cybersecurity, and records management. Before joining Walmart, she served as the President and CEO of the Center for Democracy and Technology, a global nonprofit focused on digital civil liberties. In the private sector, Nuala served as both Vice President of Compliance and Customer Trust and Associate General Counsel for Privacy and Data Protection at Amazon, was the Chief Privacy Leader at General Electric, and held both privacy leadership and legal counsel roles at DoubleClick.

Günther H. Oettinger

Günther H. Oettinger was European Commissioner for Budget & Human Resources from January 2017 to November 2019. From November 2014 to December 2016, he held office as European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society after being European Commissioner for Energy from February 2010 to October 2014 and lastly also Vice President of the European Commission in 2014. From 2005 to 2010, he was Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg (Germany) and, since 1984, a member of the regional Parliament (“Landtag”). He was the leader of the CDU Landtag Group from January 1991 to April 2005. A lawyer by training, Günther H. Oettinger became actively involved in politics during his adolescence. He was a member of the Federal Executive Committee and of the Steering Committee of the CDU Deutschland.

Matthew Westerman

Matthew Westerman is the Co-founder and Director of MW&L Capital Partners. Westerman spent over thirty years in the banking industry with both global and regional leadership positions at Goldman Sachs, HSBC and Rothschild & Co. He co-headed Global Banking at HSBC and ran investment banking in Europe and Asia ex-Japan at Goldman Sachs where he was a Partner for 14 years and served on its European and Asian Management Committees as well as its Partnership Committee. Throughout his career, he has worked with governments, corporations, private equity firms, and institutions around the world. Westerman is Trustee and Deputy Chair of the Imperial War Museum in the U.K. and a Foundation Fellow at Balliol College, Oxford.
