Robert has held leadership positions in the US, UK, Europe and the Middle East, leading and managing global communications programs for large and small organizations based in the US, Europe and Asia.
He has led integrated communication assignments and worked closely with numerous Ministries around the world and in the GCC region, with more than a dozen KSA Ministries benefiting from his counsel. This includes Health; Energy; Industry & Mineral Resources; Investment; Economy & Planning; Labor; Commerce; Environment, Water & Agriculture; and Municipalities, Rural Affairs and Housing. He also has worked closely with leading Saudi private sector companies.
Robert has had responsibility for public and media relations, government affairs, market access/ development, digital business and brand communications. He has also developed executive visibility, message platform and thought leadership programs for clients on a regional and global basis. He regularly provides communications training to organizational leaders, including on media and message training, crisis preparedness, delivering speeches and presentations, and advocacy building.
Robert’s industry experience is broad, with a specialty in highly regulated industries such as finance, health and energy.
Originally from the US state of Minnesota, Robert holds degrees in journalism, business administration and international economics. He studied law in the US and UK.
