ブルームバーグのデータによると、日本は2024年も世界のM&Aの中心であったことが分かります。2023年の日本企業による、または日本企業を対象としたM&Aの総額は前年比44％増でしたが、2024年は過去最高額となる約2,300億ドルを記録しました。
M&A PRアドバイザーの上位10社がアドバイザーを務めた案件を調査しているMergermarketのデータによると、2024年に戦略的PRアドバイザーが関わった日本のM&A案件の総額は過去最大規模となり、前年の4倍以上に達しました。

Kekst CNC remains top M&A PR advisor in Japan
In 2024, Japan remained a global hotspot for M&A. Following a 44% increase in the value of mergers and acquisitions by or targeting Japanese companies in 2023, the figure for 2024 grew to a record high of over $230 billion according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
More remarkably, the value of Japan deals involving strategic communications advisors has surged by a factor of four, according to figures released by Mergermarket tracking the deals advised by the 10 largest M&A PR advisors.
Kekst CNC advised on 13 Japan deals amounting to a value of $70.2 bn (excluding the value of those deals with undisclosed value) just in 2024. Combining 2023 and 2024 figures puts the value of Kekst CNC advised Japan deals at $89.2 bn, more than any other PR advisor in the Japanese market.
These figures, which exclude significant work related to shareholder activist campaigns and preparation against potential unsolicited bids, reflect the solid trust our clients continue to place in us in the Japanese market.
