Blake is a seasoned public affairs professional with experience gained in both the British and international arenas. Immediately prior to joining Kekst CNC, he was a Senior Parliamentary Assistant to a UK Government Minister, running their Parliamentary office and communications channels, having also worked on Parliamentary procedure and speechwriting. Before this, Blake gained experience at the Embassy of New Zealand where he produced the DACH area news briefing for the Ambassador each morning, and British Consulate-General in Düsseldorf where he worked in the international trade section producing briefings and organising events.
He also served as Liaison Officer to the now President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2015 in Malta. Blake holds a BA in Politics with German from the University of Nottingham, spending a semester at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, and an MPhil in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. He speaks English, German and intermediate Italian.
